What Does White Label Skincare Actually Mean?
White labeling is a business model where a company buys pre-formulated, mass-produced skincare from a manufacturer and simply puts their own branding on the bottle.
The formula remains unchanged, it’s the same base that can be sold under multiple brand names, sometimes with only minor tweaks to scent, packaging, or marketing language.
In skincare, white labeling allows clinics and providers to launch a “private line” without ever being involved in the actual formulation process.
It’s fast. It’s convenient. And it’s highly profitable.
But here’s the problem:
- The doctor didn’t design the formula.
- The doctor didn’t select the ingredients or test its performance.
- And the product may not contain the clinically proven concentrations needed to transform skin.
In my opinion, that’s not good enough.

Are their plans to make a travel set?

KaramMD Skin replied:
Hi Tammie—Thanks for your comment! Because all of the products are currently within the TSA travel requirements and can be taken on a plane, we don’t have any plans for smaller sizes at the moment. I will definitely pass this request along to the team for future consideration. 🤩

I love KaramMD products! It would be amazing if a “body” formula was made to include areas like the shoulders and hands. Then we could have a superfecta!

I’m anxious to try this. However I do use an md prescription of tretinoin 0.1%. Will using this be overkill if I use your Trifecta?

KaramMD Skin replied:
Hi KoolerTrek Wellness—Thanks for your comment! Trifecta is designed to be a complete skincare system, so you don’t need anything else, but if you’re already using a prescription tretinoin, you can definitely keep it in your routine. Just apply it after the full Trifecta steps, and follow with any moisturizers if needed. Everyone’s skin responds differently to retinoids, so keep an eye on how yours reacts.
