It was supposed to last 10 days, but my Illuminate ran out on day 7 before the other products, and I was not using extra product. I don't know if it was a defective bottle, but it was a bummer for the price I paid. I will not buy it again.

I want to first say that I think the products are high quality and would probably work for someone who lives in a different environment. I live in the desert with minimal humidity (6% sometimes) and warmer temperatures so skin dehydration is an issues for almost everyone here. Even with taking electrolytes every morning, skin becomes dehyrated so quickly. I personally found the products to dry out my dry skin even more, and the Enrich barrier balm was too greasy to use during the day. I think these products would be really great in a climate like Portland, OR or any place with a higher level of humidity.

Dryness and flakiness when starting a new skincare regimen are completely normal, especially when introducing retinol for the first time. This is simply your skin acclimating to the active ingredients, and it should start to subside with consistent use. The travel size is designed to introduce you to the products rather than show you full results. For that, you really need at least 30 days of consistent use. Ten days gives the skin just enough time to begin adjusting, but not enough to see the Trifecta working at its best.
With more time, the skin often finds its balance even in dryer climates and many customers find that pairing the Trifecta with a dedicated moisturizer suited to very dry skin makes a significant difference.
