Unraveling the Intricacies of the Skincare Market
You've probably seen it: Skincare brands often deploy sophisticated marketing strategies to justify the hefty price tags attached to their products. A combination of persuasive advertising, the use of complex skincare jargon, and even the implication of scarcity or exclusivity serves to create an aura of superior effectiveness around these products. In many cases, these marketing techniques don't accurately reflect the actual potency or efficacy of the formulation.
One of the biggest dangers of unsubstantiated marketing claims is the risk that consumers may use products that not only fail to deliver the promised benefits but also harm their skin. Without rigorous scientific testing and clinical trials, there's no assurance that these products are safe or effective. Some companies exploit consumer vulnerability by making exaggerated claims just to boost sales, without considering the potential consequences of their products.
This exact scenario illustrates that higher prices do not always equate to better product quality or effectiveness, making it crucial to look beyond marketing tactics and price tags.
Trifecta was built around ingredients backed by years of real research, not trends.
I spent 5 years studying what consistently improves skin, then built a routine that stays simple enough to repeat, even though simplicity is not what sells in skincare. My first instinct was to consolidate everything into one product, which became Illuminate. But long-term results come from a complete, streamlined system, built on actives that are proven, well-formulated, and used consistently. That starts with understanding the ingredients that actually do the work.

Hi Susan,
Thank you for reaching out and for your feedback! Being on all of the right, high quality anti-aging ingredients is expensive. An effective system is complicated and requires a lot of components. The Trifecta bundles all of those components which makes is 2-4 times less expensive than if you were to get all of these ingredients separately. We know this isn’t in the budget for everyone and if that’s the case we recommend you try the Illuminate on its own.
It delivers precision doses of actives including Retinol, Niacinamide, botanical brighteners, and a patented Lipid Complex for smoother, firmer, more even-looking skin. The all-in-one solution helps with natural collagen production, boosts hydration, helps to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, firms, and brightens an uneven skin tone, all in one powerful formula. This is a great stand alone product if you’re not able to go for the whole set.Susan
I love your YouTube channel and I completely trust your line of skincare products. But I’m shocked at the price for a one month supply! I hear you that purchasing the individual ingredients separately would cost even more, but did you consider that not everyone can afford the Trifecta? Have you considered also offering a “scaled down version” for those of us who would otherwise not be able to benefit from high quality skincare with ingredients we can trust? Please share your thinking on this. Thank you.

Hi Cheryl,
Trifecta is all you need. There won’t be any need for another product but you can continue using a retinol if you’d like to. You would simply apply your retinol after Rinse. If you are not already religious with a retinol, the trifecta is perfect as a stand alone trio.

I just started using the trifecta and would also like to continue with my Tretinoin as well. Can I do both at the same time?

Hi Carol,
Unfortunately, we don’t offer samples at this time. Trifecta is meant to be used consistently for best results. It takes 28-days for skin cells to turn over, which means in order to see a difference in your skin from KaramMD products, you need to use them as recommended for at least a month. I would suggest you try it for a month or two to see how you like it and then make a decision whether you would like to continue or not.
