How to use Trifecta & Polish: A Simple Skincare Routine

Achieving beautiful, radiant skin is easy if you have the right skincare products. In the world of skin care, figuring out which products are the right ones can be difficult–there are so many options, and many of them are complicated, requiring so many steps it’s almost impossible to be consistent on a daily basis.

I designed the Trifecta to be incredibly effective but also easy to use. The Trifecta is a three-step collection of products designed for simple, daily use. The three products in the Trifecta are Rinse, Quench, & Illuminate.

Rinse Daily Cleanser

Rinse is an award-winning, gentle, hydrating cleanser that softens the skin and boosts cell regeneration. Rinse also prevents UV damage while preparing the skin for a deeper absorption of the active ingredients of Trifecta. Rinse is applied first.

How to Use Rinse:

Use both morning and evening. Apply and massage onto wet skin in circular motions. Rinse with tepid water. Repeat if necessary to remove stubborn makeup or SPF.

Quench Vitamin C Serum

Quench is a brightening Vitamin C serum that refreshes the skin and minimizes fine lines and age. Quench acts as an anti-inflammatory and helps prevent collagen breakdown.

How to Use Quench:

Use twice a day. Apply one or two drops of Quench on clean skin and massage into the skin.

Illuminate Anti-Aging Cream

Illuminate is a powerful all-in-one anti-aging cream that boosts cell turnover, improves skin elasticity, and triggers collagen production while deeply hydrating the skin. This product can also be used alone to achieve remarkable effects without the other elements of the Trifecta. Illuminate firms the skin and results in a luminous, youthful glow.

How to Use Illuminate:

Illuminate is your final step of the Trifecta skincare routine. Apply Illuminate both morning and evening to your face, eyes, and neck.

What is Polish?

Polish is an enzymatic exfoliator in the form of ultra-fine powders. This product is designed to gently buff away the top layer of dead, dull skin cells to instantly achieve a fresh-faced, radiant appearance.

Polish is formulated from the following ingredients:

  • Papain
  • Oryza sativa (rice)
  • Camellia sinensis (matcha)
  • Bambusa vulgaris (bamboo) stem
  • Coco nucifera (coconut) milk
  • And more

I recommend using Polish to exfoliate regularly, about 2-3 times a week. Regular use of Polish or any good exfoliator helps to promote long-term hydration and a smooth, glowing complexion.

How Do You Apply Polish?

Polish is easy to use. While it’s not an everyday product, when you use it, it is designed to be applied after Rinse and before Quench and Illuminate.

Apply with the following steps... check out my Instagram video if you would like to watch to see me apply it and talk through each part:

  1. Add some Polish powder to the palm of your hand.
  2. Bring it to life (activate it) by adding a little touch of water.
  3. Mix it in the palm of your hand.
  4. Put it on your skin by gently rubbing it in.
  5. Leave it on for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Relax, sip some coffee, do some push-ups, or do whatever you’d like while you wait.
  7. Rinse it off.

While Polish is being applied, it is digesting the dead skin cells and dull layers of the skin, resulting in a bright, smooth effect. Polish is a favorite for many people because it achieves immediate, glowing results.
