Is there a need to use a moisturizer?

Hi Jane —Thanks for your comment! While the Trifecta products the Rinse and Illuminate have ingredients with inherently hydrating qualities, you may need an additional moisturizer as well. Especially when introducing or if you are new to products with retinol in them, there can be a period of time where your skin is adjusting and dryness can occur. We suggest our product the Enrich Moisture Barrier Balm or if you have an additional moisturizer on hand that you enjoy, these can be added after the Trifecta.
