KaramMD Enrich is a barrier balm designed to provide extra moisture and help skin retain hydration. It combines moisturizing and skin-supporting ingredients for skin that feels dry or tight. It can be added to Trifecta when you need more moisture.
What does Enrich do for the skin?
Enrich helps reduce moisture loss and leaves skin feeling softer and more comfortable. It can be useful when your usual routine does not provide enough moisture, including during dry weather or travel. Persistent irritation or damaged skin should be assessed by a clinician.
How is Enrich different from a regular moisturizer?
Enrich is a balm intended to add a moisture-retaining layer after your usual skincare. In the KaramMD routine, it supplements Illuminate when more moisture is needed. The right texture and amount depend on how dry your skin feels.
Is Enrich an occlusive balm?
Yes. Enrich can be used as an occlusive step to help reduce water loss from the skin. Its formula also includes moisturizing and skin-supporting ingredients. Apply it as directed, and use an amount that feels comfortable for your skin.
Do I need Enrich if I already use Trifecta?
Enrich is optional. If Trifecta provides enough moisture for your skin, you may not need an additional balm. Add Enrich after Illuminate when your skin feels dry or tight, either regularly or only when needed.
Where does Enrich fit in the KaramMD routine?
Apply Enrich after Illuminate, over the face and neck or only on dry areas, following the product label. If you use it in the morning, apply sunscreen afterward as the final skincare step. Enrich does not replace sunscreen.
Can I use Enrich with retinol?
Enrich can add moisture to a routine that includes retinol, but a balm does not prevent all retinol irritation. Follow your retinol product’s directions or your prescriber’s advice before layering. If irritation develops, reduce or pause the irritating product rather than covering it with more balm.
Is Enrich suitable for dry or sensitive skin?
Enrich was developed to provide extra moisture and barrier support and may suit dry or sensitive-feeling skin. Individual ingredient sensitivities still vary. Review the ingredient list and introduce it gradually. Seek advice for persistent redness, itching, or discomfort.
Can I use Enrich every day?
